AI and Calculation Disclaimer

Landed cost, cost per unit, gross profit, gross margin and markup are computed with fixed formulas from the figures you enter. They are not generated by AI. Results are only as accurate as the inputs.

The Service does not create or estimate freight, insurance, duty, tax, customs-fee or exchange-rate figures for your calculations. Every amount used in a calculation is one you entered or approved. Missing inputs are flagged rather than filled in.

AI is used to read uploaded supplier documents. It can misread or miss information. Every extracted value is a suggestion that you must review and approve before it is applied, and you should check it against the original document.

When expenses are missing or awaiting confirmation, landed cost and profit are provisional, and customer exports are marked as drafts.

• Tariff rates shown in Trade Intelligence are retrieved from official government tariff services, not generated by the Service, and are labelled Verified, Requires confirmation or Not available, with source and date when available.
• These rates are reference information only. They are never entered into your quotations or calculations automatically; you decide whether to use them.
• "Not available" never means zero duty.
• Tariff results may exclude additional duties such as anti-dumping, countervailing or special measures, and preferential rates depend on eligibility.
• Tariff classification and duty liability should be confirmed with a licensed customs broker.
• Official data can change after it is retrieved.
